Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts. Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee. Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law; For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
