Question: Who is our pastor?

Answer: Our pastor is actually not a person. Instead, the pastor of our church is the combined word of the Holy Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.

Together, these two books were ordained in 1895 to be “the pastor, on this planet, of all the churches of the Christian Science denomination”* by the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy.

This means that there is one Pastor for all of the Christian Science churches worldwide. It unites us as one family of spiritual seekers and disciples.

Each week, students of Christian Science study the Weekly Bible Lesson Sermons, published by the Christian Science Publishing Society. On Sunday mornings, elected Readers conduct the services and read the Lesson Sermon from the two books, the Bible and Science and Health.
