The effects of Christian Science are not so much seen as felt. It is the “still, small voice” of Truth uttering itself. We are either turning away from this utterance, or we are listening to it and going up higher.

Christian Science separates error from truth, and breathes through the sacred pages the spiritual sense of life, substance, and intelligence. In this Science, we discover man in the image and likeness of God. We see that man has never lost his spiritual estate and his eternal harmony. 

The poor suffering heart finds nourishment in peace, patience, and a sense of God's loving-kindness, leading to spiritual joy. The loss of earthly hopes and pleasures deepens the desire for the spiritual, as we recognize the unreality of material senses and embrace the peace and permanence of God's creation.

Truth and Love is an antidote to invigorate and sustain existence.

The pilgrim on earth is reminded that their true home is heaven, and as a guest of God, they are embraced by divine harmony and the reign of Spirit.

The foundation of spiritual strength and inspiration is found in Zion, the city of the great King, while the establishment of Divine Science unveils the spiritual facts and harmony of the universe, ushering in the reign of harmony in the New Jerusalem.

The time for thinkers has come. Truth, independent of doctrines and time-honored systems, knocks at the portal of humanity.

Mind is the same Life, Love, and wisdom “yesterday, and to-day, and forever.” ... Principle is absolute.

Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

Christian Scientists must live under the constant pressure of the apostolic command to come out from the material world and be separate.

When the illusion of sickness or sin tempts you, cling steadfastly to God and His idea.

Man is the family name for all ideas, — the sons and daughters of God. 

... All substance, intelligence, wisdom, being, immortality, cause, and effect belong to God.

In divine Science, ... God is revealed as infinite 

If Christian Science dishonors human belief, it honors spiritual understanding; and the one Mind only is entitled to honor.
